Our Story
Sun Prairie Savage is a non-profit travel softball organization fielding seven teams from 8U through 18U. Our mission is to develop confident, competitive athletes and great teammates while keeping the game fun and affordable for families.
What Drives Us
Savage Fastpitch was established to provide each player and their families with a positive, challenging, and rewarding softball experience. Our focus is on the overall development of our players in preparing them for life on and off the field. We are devoted to promoting proper softball techniques, teamwork, social skills, education, community awareness, confidence, accountability, and discipline. We value the importance of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and mental toughness, while continuously pushing ourselves to reach new heights.
Savage Fastpitch Softball offers a high level of competition. We expect the girls to be good softball players and strong, well-rounded athletes. We both support and encourage our players to participate in other sports in the off-season. We are committed to creating a positive culture, in which coaches, parents, fans, officials, and athletes work together to achieve our mission.
We are a volunteer-driven organization committed to building an appreciation for the game of fastpitch softball through quality coaching and supportive parental involvement. We are proud to represent our community and our families, wearing our team colors with pride and demonstrating the values that define Savage Softball. What We Stand For
The leadership at Savage Softball is committed to the team. From registration on, those who select the players will be their leaders and coaches. All leadership is involved in the day-to-day interactions with the athletes, the families, and members of the local community and hosting communities around the area.
Our staff comes with a strong background in technical softball knowledge but equally important, is focused on developing athletes in their approach to sports and life. We prioritize facilitating the development of skills the athlete can use both on and off the field. Rather than chase a standard – we work to set it. We will not only work closely with our area high school coaches, but we will provide our athletes with multiple opportunities to work with premier hitting and pitching coaches.
The team of athletes is the highest priority. You and your athlete will be kept up to date via multiple modes of communication. We are here to coach and guide as well as listen. Your athlete will be challenged to grow, to earn their position, to approach the game in a positive and goal-oriented way and continue to gain and stretch skills as they move through the season.
